About Me
I’m Eli, I would like to take a moment to thank you, thank you for taking a step into my imagination and seeing the world as I do, even if only for a moment.
Since I was a child, I’ve found that communication Is made easier through pictures and it’s become commonplace to put my thoughts into images as a way of remembering and explaining things; I grew up with a deep love and passion for art, especially revolving around surrealism and humour, with my favourite artists being Salvador Dali and Todd Schorr, its these influences that have helped me along the path of becoming the artist I am today.
A few years back I started creating digital pictures and videos for friends and family which quickly transitioned into completing edits that had been requested by the lovely people on my social platforms, with that I realised that people genuinely enjoy the works I create for them as much as I enjoy the journey of creation myself, seeing the faces of these people and how much it means to them when I show them my work is motivation enough to continue with what I do.
I get my ideas from almost everything, it could be taking my little dog Bella for a stroll and taking in the scenery, visiting the nearest museum or the furthest art gallery, or even just sitting peacefully listening to the lyrics of each song that passes my ears. Inspiration can be found in some of the most surprising places, you’ve just got to be patient enough to experience it.
